Paloma

Hi, my name is Paloma.  It is the most appropriate name for me because “Paloma” means “Dove” in Spanish and Italian.  I am like a beautiful white dove.  I am a medium sized, short haired, white mixed breed dog with a distinctive soft brown spot on my face and lovely brown ears.  The Dove is the world symbol for Peace.  I like to think of myself spreading my wings and flying through the sky just like a Dove.

I was rescued on the Libramiento after I was thrown out of a car onto the road.  Fortunately, I was not hurt, and my nice lady rescuer brought me to Lucky Dog.   My birthdate is April 21st of 2019. I weigh around 10.5 kilos, but I will still grow a bit.  I will be a medium sized gal.  I love living at Lucky Dog, but to tell the truth I don’t like a few of the other dogs here.  I think it is because they are “war” dogs and they just want to bark, growl and fight all the time.  I am a peaceful dove and some folks would call these other war dogs “hawks”.  My favorite song is “Give Peace a Chance” by John Lennon.

So if you are looking for a beautiful dog with the soaring energy of a dove, you can find me here at Lucky Dog.  You can come out and walk me.  I am quite a good walker on a leash.  Or you can adopt me and take me home.  I will sit by your feet.  You can pet me and look into my lovely eyes.  We can sing John Lennon and Bob Dylan songs.  We will have a happy life together, just like two loving doves in a nest!
